In addition to the plethora of wildlife and biodiversity discussed, editorials encapsulating the times between the years 2006-2009 are shared within each annual report. Outspoken and forward-thinking, the writings complement the new discoveries in the reports.

It gives one a good idea of how much a group of devoted environmental advocates and scientists can do, from the perspective of specific projects on the island of Panay aimed to protect the last intact Visayas lowland rainforest. A headline on the project information PDF reads, “It must be protected as a genetic resource for reforestation.”
