Why a Forest Food Fair?
Forests aren't just a group of trees: they have culinary, cultural, scientific, recreational, hydrological, and ecological significance to humanity. Philippine forests are not only unique, they are greatly prized by the scientific, political, and corporate sectors.
Now is the time everyone realized the importance of our forests as well. And it is time to ensure that forests will continue to benefit us, our children, and their children's children for generations to come.

The 3 Green Bills March
An important March will begin at 7am (2 hours before the Forest Food Fair) outside the BFAR Office beside PhilCoa. If you love nature and value the importance of our natural resources, march with us to show support for the 3 Green Bills: the National Land Use Act (NLUA), the Alternative Minerals Management Bill (AMMB), and the Forest Resources Bill (FRB).
Every year, days before the Presidential SONA (State of the Nation Address), environment and human rights networks gather together to urge congress and the President to "Green the SONA" by pushing for the passing of these 3 Green Bills.
Learn more about these bills and why they must be passed and implemented to ensure that our urban areas stay clean and livable and to preserve our food and water sources in our natural areas.
