Haribon recently forged a partnership with DENR IV–A for the 100-hectare tree planting site covering Mts. Banahaw-San Cristobal Protected Landscape with Liliw, Rizal and Nagcarlan, Laguna as the initial restoration sites.
Present during the MOA signing were Thaddeus Martinez, and Maria Belinda E. de la Paz of Haribon Foundation, and representatives from DENR Region IV-A headed by Mr. Reynulfo A. Juan, Calabarzon Regional Executive Director.
This milestone is part of the ongoing efforts of Haribon Foundation in achieving its target of restoring one million hectares of rainforests by 2020 as part of their ROAD to 2020 program.
