About 50 species that are Critically Endangered at the moment
May we still be able to protect them
from disappearing in the world
" Black Shama  -  Kittacincla cebuensis "

A type of bird that can only be seen in Cebu,
so it is called endemic but it is being depleted
Critically Endangered and it is really worrying.
It would be a pity if it becomes extinct in our world.

This bird's category is Passerines.
Almost half of the percentage of birds
are small ones that perch in the woods.
Perching and songbirds are called in English.

If you look at the anatomy of the feet
Three of its toes are in the forward direction
One is in the back so it is easy to cling to the branches
Characteristics of being a passerine category

This bird is medium in size
The color of the male is bright blue
The female is brown if you look at it
The color of its feet, beak, and eyes is black

These birds are wild, but they are good
at chirping because they are really good.
In the low places of the mountain, they are skilled.
But with people, they are afraid and uneasy.

The people of Cebu call it Siloy
They eat beetles
Deforestation is the sure reason
Why the world's bird is endangered

In the end, our natural wealth is to take care of it.
This is the legacy that will be left to the next generation.
It is sad that they will no longer be seen.
So now action is necessary.
